First order for XT-640 just minutes after launch

Following the recent launch of wide-format manufacturer Roland DG’s new inkjet printer for the textile sector, the Texart XT-640, it has been revealed that Sabur Digital in Barnsley has become the first dealer to receive an order for the new machine just minutes after its launch.

A leading UK sportswear manufacturer is behind the first order for Roland’s newest sublimation machine, which boasts dual print heads, a maximum print speed of 63sq m/h, and an integrated post heater, among other new innovations.

Dean Sanger, managing director of Sabur Digital, comments: “We were delighted to hear of Roland DG’s latest dye sublimation printer being launched this morning.

“The Texart XT-640 perfectly fits a gap in the market for many of our expanding and existing high volume production customer’s demands, providing high speed production without sacrificing quality results and vibrant colour.”

The fact that Sabur were first in line to sell the XT-640 came as little surprise to print product manager at Roland DG UK Mark Elvidge, who praised the South Yorkshire business for being long time champions of Roland’s move into sublimation textile printing.

“With the wide array of features available with the machine, alongside Sabur’s knowledge and excellent customer care, it is sure to be a huge success for them,” says Elvidge.
