Antalis ups the ante with series of acquisitions

Paper and large-format media supplier Antalis has moved to demonstrate its growth ambitions in the market by completing a series of acquisitions

In recent times, the company has acquired other businesses that represent total sales of approximately €130m (£91.6m).

Companies that have come under the Antalis umbrella in recent times include PaperlinX’s packaging companies in the UK as well as Hansapakend of Estonia.

Other companies now owned by Antalis are PaperlinX A/S in Denmark, which generates sales in packaging and visual communication, as well as Swedish firm Cadorit i Boras AB that offers various visual communication services.

In a statement, Antalis said this series of acquisitions has helped increase its total sales to almost €450m, with this figure likely to grow as the firm moves forward.

“Consolidating our position allows us to serve our customers more effectively and to step up our growth in Europe.

“These profitable companies will have a positive impact on Antalis’ earnings as from 2015.”
