Epson targets dye-sublimation with double launch

Epson has moved to strengthen its grip on the dye-sublimation print market by launching two new printers in the form of the SC-F7200 and SC-F6200

Backed up with warranty and service support, the two devices both offer print quality of up to 720 x 1440dpi.

The SC-F7200 is the larger of the two models, measuring in at 64” in width, while the SC-F6200 can handle dye-sublimation papers in widths of up to 44”.

However, the SC-F6200 is the faster of the two new devices, boasting speeds of up to 63.4sq m/hr, while the larger SC-F7200 can hit 58.9sq m/hr.

Both devices also utilise Epson’s PrecisionCore TFP printhead to produce work.
