Daktronics take on charity run

With the aim of raising money for the Bristol-based charity Paul’s Place, Daktronics took part in the Morrisons Great Newham London Run on 19th July.

Six members of the Daktronics team and five family members participated in the run, which took place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Meandering through iconic London 2012 Olympic Games legacy venues, the team also had a special connection with the course.

Daktronics installed four LED video displays at Lee Valley VeloPark, measuring 18.10sq m each, in preparation for the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2016.

Two 15HD pixel LED video displays of 214sq m will also be installed at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park stadium in time for the Rugby World Cup in 2015.

The team encourage donations at justgiving.com/paulsplace.
