Avery Dennison launches Wrap Like a King challenge

Avery Dennison is encouraging vehicle wrap installers from around the world to get creative after launching its 2015 ‘Wrap Like a King’ challenge

Open to installers in 42 countries, commercial or colour-change wrap projects can be put forward between July 1st and September 30th to be judged by a panel of industry experts.

Regional winners will be announced in October, before the overall winner is crowned the ‘King of the Wrap World’ at the 2015 SEMA Show, which takes place in Las Vegas from November 3rd to 6th.

Speaking about the competition, Eric Ide, global director for wrapping films at Avery Dennison, says the company opted to open up this year’s event to wider audience in order to help unearth more wrapping talent from around the world.

“After great success with our 2013 and 2014 “Wrap Like a King” challenges in North America, Avery Dennison is including Europe this year, to make it a challenge of global proportions,” Ide explains.

“We’re excited to have a much broader community participating this year, and I cannot wait to see what creative designs our installer base will submit.

“This year’s ‘Wrap Like a King’ Challenge winner will earn significant bragging rights – and the title ‘King of the Wrap World’.”

All regional winners will receive a trip to the 2015 SEMA Show, while prize packs will also include a 2016 Avery Dennison wrap class, personalised ‘Wrap Like a King’ swag, a range of promotional and marketing tools for the winner’s wrap shop, and exposure on Avery Dennison’s Instagram, Facebook page and website.
