Tesa puts Hexis staff to the test

Adhesive tape manufacturer Tesa recently hosted a special training session for its national sign distributor Hexis in order to put the knowledge of staff at the Staffordshire-based firm to the test

A group of staff form Hexis spent the day at Tesa’s headquarters in Milton Keynes in order to refresh their knowledge of the company’s sign-related products.

Tesa staff gave presentations about the key elements of the products while the group also learnt more about how they could assess the requirements of a specification application.

Scott Wilkins, managing director Hexis, comments: “The Tesa team were very hospitable and the training session was genuinely informative.

We consider it important that our distributors understand the technical features of tape so they are better able to advise their customers on the best solution

“Although all Hexis staff are experienced, it was certainly well worth a day out of the workplace to refresh our Tesa product knowledge so that we can recommend the right product for the right job and keep up to date with product updates like Tesa ACXplus.”

Jeremy Smith, marketing manager at Tesa, adds: “We consider it important that our distributors understand the technical features of tape so they are better able to advise their customers on the best solution.

“Training is essential to this and we were very pleased Hexis were able to participate.”
