FESPA dominance grows

FESPA has announced that the 2014 edition of its China event attracted a record attendance of 11,667 individual visitors—further evidence of a trend that has seen the exhibition juggernaut strengthen its dominant market position.

The event, which took place at the Guangzhou Pazhou Poly World Trade Centre attracted a total of 15,166 over three days.

The individual visitor figure for the recent show represents an increase of 23 percent on the number of people that attended FESPA China 2013 in Shanghai. While the number of exhibitors that were in attendance jumped 30 percent on the previous year’s edition of the event.

Feedback from exhibitors was that they met with more overseas visitors than previous years, and that the decision making calibre of visitors was high

Nigel Steffens, board advisor at FESPA, comments: “Feedback from exhibitors was that they met with more overseas visitors than previous years, and that the decision making calibre of visitors was high."
