Engage journey to digital’s outer edge

In a major development for interactive digital technologies specialist Engage, the company has revealed the latest cutting edge additions to its Flux Innovation Lounge.

“New FLUX partner additions include LG, with the recently announced 9 x 55” interactive wall, and RoboThespian, a life-sized ‘humanoid robot’,” says press spokesman Rob Lane. He adds: “There’s also a new wearable tech zone and a permanent Oculus Rift installation. A hotbed for innovation, insights and technology, FLUX offers businesses opportunities to experience the latest technology solutions.”

The reference to this last piece of technology allows users, by donning a head set, to experience a perfect 360 degree virtual world without the use of any computer generate graphics and in real time. But centrepiece to the new customer centre is digital signage.

This is part of a new Tech Innovation venture between Engage and LG.”

One of the other flagship innovations on show is Digital Bridge. This is described as, ‘an advanced computer vision platform’ and is designed to convert real-world scenes to digital models. This essentially allows users to take photos of interior spaces and then visualise how they would look with new additions or designs.
