Christmas comes early for South East gift shop

Popup Christmas shops have become a regular presence on the high street in recent years and now, with the help of sign-makers, gift shops are starting to see the opportunities that temporary vinyl graphics and signs can bring.

W&Co Displays and Signs, which specialises in illuminated displays, custom signs and feature lighting, has helped gift shop Flutterbyes kit out one of its three stores in Christmas signage, transforming it into a temporary seasonal shop.

With the emphasis on low cost and short term use, W&Co installed custom graphics and signs, with the fascia sign suspended in the shop window as a temporary solution. The signage firm also used self-adhesive vinyl on both external and internal walls, allowing easy removal after the Christmas period.

To keep in with the design of the brand, Flutterbyes’ colour palette and style was retained. Its trademark butterflies replaced with snowflakes and baubles, with built up 3D halo illuminated letters and frosted window graphics to enhance the Christmas atmosphere.

All the self-adhesive vinyl and digital wallpapers were produced in-house on W&Co’s new large format latex printer.
