“It’s a very exciting time to be involved with digital textile printing, and I’m delighted to be opening this facility for UK customers,” enthuses MTEX managing director, Stewart Bell.
The new site currently houses an MTEX 5032Pro and an MTEX 1800, and visitors were able to view the technology up close as well as quiz MTEX staff as to how it can help boost their own service offering.
MTEX 5032Pro is a 3.2m direct-to-textile printer with integrated fixation that can print at speeds of up to 58sq m/hr, while the MTEX 1800 measures 1.8m wide and prints high quality vibrant colours at up to 48sq m/hr.

To support the event further, MTEX invited specialists from AVA Cadcam, Digital Print Media (DPM), Tecna UK, DPI and Blackman and White along to showcase their own solutions.
Duncan Ross, commercial director at AVA Cadcam, adds: “We are really impressed with the machinery, prices and solutions coming out of MTEX.
“It certainly adds value to the digital print market and helps reassure our customers that their investments will indeed reduce costs, reduce lead times and increase sales.”
