2015 to bear bumper crop for top show

The UK’s biggest annual sign industry exhibition has claimed that its year-on-year stand booking are up by 20 percent, with more than 100 companies already on-board with six months to go to the show.

‘‘We celebrated a fantastic exhibition in 2014, with high numbers of sign-making, display and digital printing companies in attendance, as well as many end-user visitors keen to see what’s new in this vibrant market,” says Rudi Blackett, event director for Sign and Digital UK.

A recent independent survey published on Sign and Digital UK by Zing Insights highlighted some key statistics about the 2014 edition of the show. Some 76 percent of its 6,115 visitors attended to see new products, while some 63 percent were able to either authorise or specify purchases. A further key finding was that some 90 percent of visitors were looking to invest in new equipment within twelve months of the show, with some 77 percent looking to spend up to £25,000.

There was a real buzz at the event and the level of investment in equipment and products was extremely high with exhibitors reporting record on-site sales

Blackett continues: “There was a real buzz at the event and the level of investment in equipment and products was extremely high with exhibitors reporting record on-site sales. As a direct result, the 2015 show floor plan is already nearly full and current demand for stand space means we will need to increase the size of the show again soon.

“We are delighted with the industry’s ongoing commitment and enthusiasm for the leading sign and display trade show, Sign and Digital UK. With new technology demonstrations and plenty of business advice on offer, the show is shaping up to be better than ever.”

Due for its next edition from March 24th to 26th 2015, the show has released its initial list which include a who’s who of top sign industry suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
