APA’s Extreme Fast set for takeoff

Decoration and graphic advertisement specialist APA Spa has launched Extreme Fast, a plotter cast film with channeled adhesive to support air removal during the application process.

The self-adhesive vinyl has been specifically manufactured for creating characters, logos and lettering on contoured surfaces and riveted surfaces on road vehicles, planes and containers.

Speaking to SignLink at the recent FESPA 2014 exhibition—where it launched its Titanium Matt Chrome vinyl—Francesco Deruvo, area sales manager, APA, explained : “We have always been one of the most focussed company’s in the wrapping market, one of the first pioneers, and we have believed in it for a very long time.”

Being a smaller Italian company, we need to be different and special, and we need be able to offer our customers something that in general they cannot get anywhere else

He adds: “Being a smaller Italian company, we need to be different and special, and we need be able to offer our customers something that in general they cannot get anywhere else.”

APA says Extreme Fast is easy to cut and weed, and its high conformability allows the product to adapt to any condition. Extreme Fast also features Air Free FTX System technology, which APA says, through micro channels, avoids the creation of bubbles during the application process—helping to save time and effort.

The new film is available in a wide range of colours, a gloss or metallic finish.
