Sign and Digital UK pursues maximum return

Faversham House’s marketing guru mark David Copeland is to give a free webinar to exhibitors at the Sign and Digital Show on marketing their stands at the NEC event.

The webinar is on February 27 at 10am. Titled ‘How to maximise your exhibition ROI’, it will explore the range of pre-show marketing and media opportunities available to exhibitors to help them get the most out of the show.

Copeland explains that only one in five exhibitors have a pre-show marketing strategy. He says: “This means that, on average, 80 percent are risking their marketing investment in an exhibition by just booking a stand then hoping that visitors find them. 

Ultimately, our job as an exhibition organiser is not just to sell stand space but also to work with our exhibitors to get the very best return on their investment

“Our motivation is to remind exhibitors that they’re competing with competitors for attendees’ limited time, and that they need to go some way to getting ‘on the agenda’ and ‘in the minds’ of its target visitor way before the show opens. Ultimately, our job as an exhibition organiser is not just to sell stand space but also to work with our exhibitors to get the very best return on their investment.”

The webinar will cover planning, improving presentation at the show and evaluating ROI. Copeland will present a seven-point plan to ensure exhibitors make the most of the show and he’ll highlight free marketing opportunities and present all attendees with a 20-page E-Book summarising the salient points.
