Olympic digital backlog crosses the line

AV equipment supplier Nearly New AV (NNAV) has completed the final sale from its stock of large-format Panasonic displays that were used during the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Allocated as additional stock from the global sporting event, the range of displays includes the latest LCD and Plasma displays, as well as multiple 85” and 103” 3D Plasma displays.

The entire selection from stock has now been sold off—just over one year after it was used as part of the international sporting spectacle in London.

It’s been an extremely rewarding process to find new homes for these flagship displays, from the main event of 2012

“It’s been an extremely rewarding process to find new homes for these flagship displays, from the main event of 2012,” says NNAV’s business manager, Liam Norris.

The displays have been shipped to regions around the world, ranging from Europe and the Middle East, to the US and Canada.

“Using our extensive network of contacts, both Panasonic and our channel partners have been able to break into new markets and countries, to offer customers truly nearly new, high quality display equipment,” Norris adds.
