LG and Allen Signs clean up fashion week

Lincolnshire-based Allen Signs and electronics giant LG recently joined forces to work on a vinyl wrapping project to mark London Fashion Week.

The vinyl wrapping specialist was commissioned by LG to wrap limited editions of its washing machines.

The project was in celebration of British fashion designer Holly Fulton, with the bespoke washing machines given the name F1495KD6HF Holly Fulton for LG 6 Motion.

The machines feature a monochrome fashion print by Fulton, with consumers then able to choose from 16 colour combinations for their final design.

We’re used to wrapping all sorts of objects but mostly vehicles from vans to road planers so this is a more unusual job for us

Dawn Stockell, LG marketing communications manager, explains: “Customisation is something which we have recognised to be a popular trend with our target market.”

The project follows on from a similar initiative last year when LG and Allen Signs worked together on limited edition washing machines for designer Giles Deacon.

“We’re very happy to be working with LG again on this project,” Allen Signs’ Glen Merryweather adds.
