RNLI and Epson tie up for photography exhibition

Epson has paired up with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) for a sea rescue photography exhibition showcasing the organisation's work

The Lifeboat: Courage on our Coasts by crew member and award-winning photographer Nigel Millard will tour the UK and Ireland over the course of the next five months.

Although the exhibition will be free to attend, Millard says he hopes it will have added benefits for the charity.

He adds: “I hope the exhibition will give people a better understanding and appreciation of the RNLI’s lifesaving work, as well as helping to raise funds for the charity. The photos are a collection of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.”

The work was created on Epson's SureColor SC-S70600, using the firm's inks on its UltraChrome GSX ink set. The images were printed onto Ilford’s Nanosolvent Satin 255gsm media.

The photographs that are used in the exhibition come from a book of the same title, copies of which will be available at the event.
