Hampshire Flag pays tribute to Miller Weldmaster

The Hampshire Flag Company has praised the effect a Miller Weldmaster 112 Extreme—highlighting its usage in a number of high-profile jobs the firm has produced.

Purchased from Solent, Miller Weldmaster’s exclusive UK and Ireland distributor, the machine has helped boost the firm’s manufacturing and finishing process over the last few years.

“The Miller Weldmaster 112 Extreme is brilliant for accuracy of cuts and welding and the quality of finishing it delivers is excellent,” explains Hampshire Flag managing director, Graham Wilkinson.

He adds: “The time taken to finish a product has been dramatically reduced along with the reduction of labour and manpower.

“It's also been invaluable for instances where we've had to connect two banners to create one large banner.”

One such project the machine helped produce was a large-scale banner to welcome home the HMS Liverpool from its seven-month stint off the coast of Libya back in 2011.

Produced in partnership with The Portsmouth News newspaper, the 20m-long banner was placed in Portsmouth harbour to mark the ship’s safe return to UK shores.
