SwissQPrint ups capacity by 60 percent

SwissQPrint has announced it will up its production output from 100 to 250 wide-format printers a year when it makes the move to a purpose built facility in Kriessern, Switzerland.

“Our existing site in Widnau is fast becoming cramped for space and capacity. To pave the way for future growth, we are moving into new premises that will shortly be built right next to the A13 highway exit at Kriessern. If all goes according to plan, relocation will take place in autumn 2014. The new production area will be three times its present size, allowing increased output capacity of 250 inkjet printers a year. Not only that, it will all be on just one level, greatly simplifying the logistics process,” explains SwissQPrint’s Petra Fetting.

The company’s wide-format printers are distributed in the UK by Bristol-based Spandex.
