Leicester-based wide-format printer Greenshire’s has been beating the drum for heavy metal heroes Iron Maiden with its latest project.

The firm used its HP Scitex FB7500 Industrial Press to produce a series of drum wraps for the bands supplier, Premier Music International, with legendary drummer Nicko McBrain said to be big fan.

Colin Tennant, marketing manager, Premier Music says he was particularly impressed with the colour quality on the ‘Ed Til I'm Dead’ wraps, adding:  “The turnaround time is exceptionally fast but the quality does not suffer for it.”

Greenshire’s sales manager, Marc Wolfe, says the combination of the Scitex device along with the FB225 Scitex Inks were instrumental in getting the tone just right for the wraps.

“The ink adherence and advanced digital printing capabilities made it possible for us to innovate and solve the challenges,” he says.
