NowSignage picked up the award for Public Sector Project of the Year

Many winners from the night included digital sign companies, and specialists in digital technology, much of which can be seen in the likes of the out-of-home (OOH) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) sectors.

Winning companies included NowSignage, iurface media, Igloo, and as previously reported on SignLink, nsign.tv.

Categories included Education Project of the Year, Event Technology of the Year, and Collaboration Technology of the Year, the latter of which was won by inurface media thanks to their work with fashion retailer Boohoo.

After two years of medical services around the world becoming stretched, and more and more companies working to help different sectors during the various crises, one of the big awards of the night was the Public Sector Project of the Year.

NowSignage won the award after its work with the NHS in which it implemented digital signage solutions throughout vaccination centres, hospitals, and treatment facilities.

Winning an AV Award marks a significant date for the company. This sort of recognition from our peers within the industry shows exactly how far the platform and business has come over the past 8-years.

Communications officer at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Susan King, says: “From the moment we engaged with NowSignage we were impressed. Its solution met all our requirements, and the company's support went above and beyond despite the difficulties through the COVID lockdown to ensure we had the digital signage in place for the opening of the hospital.

“Since the hospital has been open, we’ve had fantastic feedback from patients and staff, and the system has been a huge help in communicating important messages quickly and effectively to our patients.”

Talking about the win, chief executive officer at NowSignage Nick Johnson says: “Winning an AV Award marks a significant date for the company. This sort of recognition from our peers within the industry shows exactly how far the platform and business has come over the past eight years”.

The award ceremony took place of November 5th, with accolades award from an independent judging panel of senior representatives from across the audio visual industry.
