PPDS hands top sales job to former Sony specialist
PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips digital signage, LED displays and professional TV solutions, has named former Sony and LG specialist Rutger Schaap as its new senior sales manager for Benelux.

In his new role, Schaap will help oversee the development and execution the provider’s growth plans across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
LED is a specialist area for Schaap, having worked with customers, consultants, project developers, architects and end-users on a range of installations within the corporate, retail, public spaces, sport, healthcare, and luxury superyachts industries.
Schaap joins PPDS having held a number of senior management positions at other major brands in the digital space, including Tech Data, Sony and LG.
“Working for some of the biggest AV manufacturers around, PPDS has become a brand that’s impossible to ignore, disrupting the market with a wide and varied range of high quality, highly innovative products and solutions, whether it’s professional TVs, digital signage and of course, LED,” Schaap says.
