Melony Rocque and Emily Falconer will both take senior roles at CMYUK

Melony Rocque has joined CMYUK as its new group brand communications and PR manager, while Emily Falconer has been named textile business development manager for its décor and fashion range of digital ready fabrics.

Reporting directly to group sales and marketing director Robin East, Rocque will focus on developing CMYUK’s brand strategy in the textile and environmental markets.

A seasoned journalist, editor, communications and content creation specialist, Rocque has been writing about technology - including wide-format digital print sector - for over 20 years.

“I’m thrilled to be a permanent member of the CMYUK team, and am very excited about this dynamic role,” Rocque says, adding: “It’s an interesting time as the company looks to expand both its markets and geographical reach.”

Meanwhile, Falconer joins CMYUK from Premier Textiles, where she served in a number of roles her six-year tenure, most recently as its business development manager.

CMYUK is one of the very few organisations with the combined knowledge of extensive production equipment and materials expertise

Falconer has also worked in partnership with printer manufacturers to render the best results for textiles and fabrics on a range of print technologies and ink-sets.

In her new role at CMYUK, Falconer will work with all departments to develop new décor and fashion textile ranges, reporting directly to business development director consumables Michael Crook.

Falconer says: “Over recent years I have seen how the market for digitally printed textiles has grown, with more customers from non-traditional sectors investing in this technology.

“CMYUK is one of the very few organisations with the combined knowledge of extensive production equipment and materials expertise. I am pleased to be part of this.”
