Gold Award winners included two companies from the UK

The Awards, which drew entries from 27 countries around the world, celebrate the work done by print and sign companies over the past 12 months.

Though the Awards are usually marked with a special gala event during the main FESPA Global Print Expo show, this year’s gathering was cancelled due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

FESPA president Christian Duyckaerts comments: “Championing print excellence and promoting the unique power of print is central to FESPA’s mission.

“With the FESPA Awards, we want to inspire our global community to keep developing fresh ideas and using advances in technology and materials to add new dimensions to the work they produce for customers, as a foundation for continued growth.”

We extend our congratulations to all our 2020 winners

Among this year’s winners were UK-based BOBO1325, which clinched a Gold Award in the ‘Printeriors’ category, while HNS Signs, also located in the UK, won Gold in the ‘Non-Printed Signage’ category.

Other winners included the Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology in India, which won the 2020 Young Star Award, a category only open to junior print industry employees, trainees or students aged between 16 and 25.

“Judging this work is a privilege because it reminds us that print – in all its many forms and applications – is creative, beautiful and, above all, effective,” Duyckaerts says.

“We extend our congratulations to all our 2020 winners.”
