The new Mimaki SWJ-320EA will be on display in Europe for the first time at The Print Show

First revealed at FESPA Africa 2019, the Mimaki SWJ-320EA printer will be on display for its first European showing.

“The exciting arrival of the Mimaki SWJ-320EA in time for The Print Show next week is a great opportunity for visitors to have first eyes on this high-speed and quality printer that we anticipate will take the large-format indoor and outdoor markets by storm,” explains Brett Newman, Hybrid’s chief operations manager.

The new printer features Mimaki’s core technologies such as an Advanced Pass System which helps prevent banding during printing, and Nozzle Recovery System which ensures the replacement of blocked nozzles without stopping production.

The SWJ-320EA is also equipped with four advanced high-speed staggered printheads capable of achieving up to 1,200dpi and print speeds of up to 137m²/h.

Combining a high level of efficiency and low operational costs with a very competitive price for the hardware and the inks, the SWJ-320EA makes a much more cost-effective choice for investment

The super-wide printer has been designed with businesses looking to diversify in a profitable way and can be used to produce various large-format indoor and outdoor applications.

Compatibility with a varied range of substrates such as self-adhesive PVC film, photo paper, billboard paper, backlit film and banner materials allows for further diversification.

Bert Benckhuysen, senior product manager for EMEA at Mimaki Europe, adds: “Addressing the needs of the highly competitive wide-format markets, the SWJ-320EA represents an important business differentiator for customers.

“Combining a high level of efficiency and low operational costs with a very competitive price for the hardware and the inks, the SWJ-320EA makes a much more cost-effective choice for investment.”

Visitors to the NEC between September 17th-19th can visit the Mimaki stand at E10 in Hall 9.
