The FlexiSIGN and PRINT Avery Dennison TrafficJet and FlexiPRINT Avery Dennison TrafficJet software will feature on the new system, which SAi says has been designed to allow the production of certified output for the global traffic signage market.

The Avery Dennison TrafficJet Print Systems CMSpot6 ink setup uses six dedicated spot colours that match regulated traffic signage, but users will have the option to extend this gamut to create custom blends using the FlexiSIGN and PRINT Avery Dennison TrafficJet edition.

Other features include an ink estimation tool that allows users to set ink limits independently and provides accurate estimation of ink usage for each print job.

The TrafficJet Print System also incorporates a Spot Color Mapping tool that the two companies say offers easier mapping between current or international sign databases by automatically mapping to the CMSpot6 Ink Setup.

In addition, the FlexiSIGN and PRINT and FlexiPRINT Avery Dennison TrafficJet software features SAi’s contour cut True Shape Nesting feature, which enables up to 30 percent savings on print and cut jobs by optimising media usage.
