Onyx shapes the future of sign-making software

Onyx Graphics used this year’s edition of the International Sign Expo to offer visitors an insight into its future software solutions and explain how these products can help sign-makers bolster their production process.

After previewing new software at the International Sign Expo, Onyx Graphics plans to launch the products at FESPA 2018

The event ran from March 22nd to 24th in Orlando, Florida, in he US, and Onyx set itself a pre-show target of speaking with as many attendees as possible about its latest offerings.

Visitors were able to learn more about the latest Onyx software, which will have its official launch at the FESPA Global Expo in May. This new release builds on version 12.2, which has picked up a number of industry honours for business solutions, colour management, RIP and print workflow.

Kevin Murphy, president of Onyx Graphics, comments: “This upcoming release promises to disrupt wide- and grand-format printing with next-level performance, colour, and output that print service providers can prove to their customers.”

Onyx also used the recent exhibition to showcase its Onyx thrive and Onyx RIP products, in addition to the latest features in the Onyx Hub software. Among the new additions on Hub is costing, which enables business owners and production managers to help identify costs on jobs, thus allowing them to pass on accurate estimations to customers.

In addition, Onyx showed its software in action by running products with kit on other stands across the International Sign Expo, such as Canon, CET Color, Epson, HP, OKI Data Americas, Ricoh and Vanguard Digital Printing Systems.
