Epson launches aim to drive large-format

Digital print giant Epson has announced the launch of two new machines that it says will support businesses that need a multi-function large-format printer but have restricted workspaces.

The new printers can be used to produce technical drawing, plotting CAD, GIS maps and assets for the retail and hospitality sectors

The SureColor SC-T3100M and SC-T5100M are billed as three-in-one printers ideal for technical drawing, plotting CAD, GIS maps and printing a range of assets for the retail and hospitality sectors.

The plotters feature a top loading scanning workflow with a 600dpi scanner that replicates documents up to 2.72, into multiple formats and sends them to various destinations.

A tray supports scanned documents to avoid any valuable originals from being damaged on the floor, while both the 24” SC-T3100M and 36” SC-T5100M are supported by the Epson Cloud Solution PORT platform.

Tom Owers, Pro Graphics product manager at Epson UK, says: “The impressive price point combined with a compact design and high specification features makes the SC-T3100M and SC-T5100M a great choice for businesses who need a reliable multi-function printer from a trusted brand.”

The new SureColor SC-T3100M will be available from December 2020, while the SureColor SC-T5100M will be available to the market from spring next year.
