Massivit 3D, Sartomer and Arkema have partnered to create a 1.7m model of a French female football player

Using its proprietary Gel Dispensing Printing (GDP) technology, the 3D specialist has created a 1.7m tall model of a female football player.

The figure, which took 11 hours to print, was printed by Deko 3D by Sepia on a Massivit 1800, using Sartomer’s N3xtDimension performance UV curable liquid resins.

Massivit 3D has been partners of Sartomer since 2013 and much of its GDP technology is made up of its advanced liquid resins.

Sartomer is part of the Arkema group which is sponsoring a member of the French female football team and this is where the idea to print the model stemmed from.

This partnership with Massivit 3D illustrates Arkema’s commitments to develop close and strategic cooperation with global key players

Amir Veresh, vice president of business development and marketing at Massivit 3D says: “We are excited about our evolving collaboration with Sartomer.

“We are adamant that, by leveraging Sartomer’s inherent capabilities and rich know-how, Massivit 3D will be able to further deliver new materials to the market with a significantly faster lead time, introduce fresh applications and enter new verticals.”

Guillaume de Crevoisier, global business director of 3D printing solutions at Arkema adds: “This partnership with Massivit 3D illustrates Arkema’s commitments to develop close and strategic cooperation with global key players to unlock additive manufacturing industrial capabilities.”
