The EFI Vutek Fabrivu digital fabric printer delivers ultra-high resolution of 2,400 dpi in 4 to 18 picoliter drop sizes at ultra-fast speeds of up to 500sq m/h. With four-colour printing, wide colour gamut and deep colour saturation, it is perfect for profitable soft signage printing such as banners, backlit displays, flags, wall coverings and other high-end display graphics.

“The scope for digitally printed textiles is huge, and one that CMYUK is fully committed to,” says Michael Crook, commercial director at CMYUK.

He adds: “With new innovation textile materials being released constantly, we ensure our customers gain the most competitive UK pricing across all stocked material, despatched directly from our distribution hub in Berkshire – many products you won’t find anywhere else from exclusive brands such as PONGS and Berger. We will be offering a complete marketing and training package supporting numerous textile applications.”

To complete the CMYUK textile portfolio, it has also established a UK distribution agreement with Klieverik, offering their market leading calenders for textile fixation to partner the EFI technology. The Klieverik GTC 101-3500 transfer printing and fixation calender has a drum size of 365 mm (14.4") with a throughput of 326sq m/h or (3509 ft/h) at a speed of 1.7m/min (5.6 ft/min).

In order to cater for its strong year-on-year business growth, CMYUK has also opened a dedicated facility to produce its Material Sample Binders. Showcasing 80 innovative application materials, the binders are described as “the ultimate reference tool by clients”. They contain materials relevant to a wide range of industries and include Laminate and Adhesives, Décor and Design, Flooring, Soft Image, and Textiles.
