Creation inspiration at Roland DG open day

Roland DG UK will invite customers to a special open day at its head office next month to showcase how the company and its technology can help them become more creative work their printed work.

Roland DG will showcase its new VersaUV S-Series of UV-LED flatbed and belt printers at the open day next month

Taking place at the Roland DG Clevedon site on November 1, the Creative Centre Experience Day will feature a segment on 50 ways that Roland DG kit can help users boost profits by targeting often-untapped markets.

Visitors will be able to freely explore the Creative Centre, the inspirational hub of Roland DG UK, as well as attend a series of education sessions centred around the manufacturer and its range of print kit.

In a statement, Roland DG says: “The objective of the event is for customers to leave the Creative Centre armed with the knowledge and skills they need to create more products and more profit with their Roland technology. 

“Enlightening workshops and tutorials will take place throughout the day to educate visitors on all aspects of print—from hardware and software updates through to the very latest applications.”

The day will run on a flexible schedule, with visitors able to attend for as long as they like or to just drop in on certain sessions. Attendees will have the chance to spend one-to-one time with product experts, producing files, getting technical advice, or learning new applications, as well as attend training presentations about the use of social media in business.

In addition, the day will allow customers to get up close and personal with some of the latest kit on offer from Roland DG, namely the new VersaUV S-Series of UV-LED flatbed and belt printers.

Roland DG adds: “With the S-Series it’s possible to direct print stunning quality graphics, images, textured and embossed effects onto virtually any substrate or object, rigid or flexible, up to 200mm in height and 100kg/sqm in weight.”

Other key features on the day include examples of work created with Roland DG technology, so as to show the far-reaching scope of its abilities, as well as the chance for visitors to challenge the Creative Centre team with weird and wonderful application ideas for print.
