Inktec set for worldwide launch of LXi8
In its 25th anniversary year, Inktec will be making on a mark on Sign and Digital UK with the worldwide launch of its Jetrix LXi8 LED-UV flatbed printer, as well as new additions to its range of consumables.

The 3.2m wide printer will be showcased on the company’s stand, H20, at the show running at top speeds of 206sq m/h, which Inktec expects will draw in the crowds.
Ben Woodruff, head of national sales at Inktec Europe, says: “The LXi8 will open up exciting new printing opportunities for sign and display companies, thanks to its speed and efficiency coupled with optimal printing results.
“We're hoping to attract a huge amount of interest from potential customers looking to take advantage of our new developments and upgrade their current equipment. As well as its stunning top speed the LXi8 has a host of new features including InkTec's latest generation LED-UV ink.”
The Inktec Europe team will be joined at the show by colleagues from the home of Inktec in South Korea, including chief executive officer of Inktec, Dr Kwang-Choon Chung. Chung talks about how he is looking forward to celebrating the progress Inktec has made with the technology launch.

The Jetrix LXi8 is ideal for short-term outdoor signage, clear film window graphics, interior decoration, furniture decoration, industrial applications, industrial keypads, spot varnishing, and wood prints.
The printer has a zonal vacuum system with automated pin registration for accurate media placement and automatic head cleaning. The print resolution is 1,080 x 720dpi and the printer features the latest generation Konica Minolta print heads.
The innovative LED curing system reduces operational costs through lower energy consumption and longer lifetime, a feature that is being seen widely across the Sign and Digital UK floorplan, highlighting the importance of environmentally-friendly printing. Inktec will feature on stands H20 and J20 at the event in March.
