Vinyl plotter software gets an update

The release of an updated version of sign-making software promises to make available all the necessary tools in creating vinyl lettering, decals and general signs created using vinyl plotters.

The newest version of EasyCut Studio is compatible with both Mac and Windows software and is available to over 60 vinyl cutting plotters

Software provider EasyCut Studio has launched Easy Cut Studio version 4.1.0.6, which it describes as “an intuitive and user-friendly cutting plotter application.”

Compatible with both Mac and Windows, the latest software provides support for over 60 different vinyl cutting plotters including HobbyCut, JinKa, PrismCut, MOMO, KingCut and Vinyl Express Panther.

The software gives sign-makers the ability to design and draw their own designs using a suite of shape drawing and editing tools

Easy Cut Studio software collates the necessary tools into one single programme. Users can create text, shapes and freehand graphics at any size to cut in vinyl. The software also includes an updated set of sign-making tools including image tracing, shadows, scanning, welding, text on arch, objects on path, note editor, rhinestone, gradient fills, transparent fills and special effects.

The software gives sign-makers the ability to design and draw their own designs using a suite of shape drawing and editing tools. Described by EasyCut Studio as a “little design powerhouse for vinyl cutting,” version 4.1.0.6 allows designers to edit images, create logos and customise text with fonts.

The software allows users to import and export a wide range of file formats including SVG, AI, PDF and PNG.
