PPDS reshuffles management team as Colpaert exits

PPDS announced details of a new senior management structure after Chris Colpaert opted to step down from his role as general manager of the business.

Franck Racapé, Martijn van der Woude and Robert Hsu will lead the business on a global basis

Franck Racapé, Martijn van der Woude and Robert Hsu will lead PPDS on a global level as head of global commercial, head of global business development and marketing, and head of global product strategy, respectively.

Racape, the current vice president of EMEA at PPDS, joined the company in 2011 and has played a key role in its commercial success in EMEA, including the roll out of its global partner programs and a growing number of successful customer support initiatives. 

In his new role, he will take the commercial lead for all international markets, with the exception of China.

Van der Woude has been serving as director of international business development, with responsibility for the company’s expanding direct view LED portfolio, as well as initiating and continually developing its sustainability roadmap. 

As head of global business development and marketing, this will marry development and marketing on a global level, with a focus on end-to-end integration of the company’s go-to-market strategy. 

Hsu, who has been head of global product strategy since he joined PPDS in early 2020, will continue the expansion of the PPDS product and solution portfolio.
