Nicki Kay joins Zünd UK as the new managing director

Kay joins the business with immediate effect and is tasked with delivering further growth for the company in the packaging, sign and graphics industries. Her previous experience includes the position of managing director for a UK manufacturer and distributor, where she was instrumental in growing the company from a small OEM-focused distributor to a global multi-channel business.

The UK subsidiary of Zünd Systemtechnik AG was founded as a private UK reseller by Tim Taylor in 1993 and has since been acquired by the Swiss company. The role at Zünd UK was previously filled by Stuart Cole, who stepped down earlier this year due to ill health.

Zünd's cutters are the de facto finishing systems for businesses across the globe and I am delighted to take the helm at such a prestigious company

Commenting on her new position, Kay says: “Zünd's cutters are the de facto finishing systems for businesses across the globe and I am delighted to take the helm at such a prestigious company. My initial focus will be the successful integration of Zünd UK's global ERP and CRM systems to bolster Zünd UK's customer service excellence - an area I'm particularly committed to."

Tim Taylor, founder of Zünd UK and commercial director, adds: "Nicki has a collaborative style and a people-engaging approach to general management and business leadership that will maximise both the financial performance of the company and the potential of our employees.

“She also has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills which she combines with a passion for quality manufacturing and customer care. We are delighted she has chosen to join Zünd UK."
