Epson represents students at FESPA
Two UK universities will be represented at FESPA in Berlin next week thanks to Epson, as it continues to promote the talent of the future.

Birmingham City University and the University of Leeds provided their textiles students with a brief set by Epson, which asked them to produce original work in the form of interior décor applications.
Heather Kendle, market development manager for Epson Europe, comments: “We will feature an aspirational studio apartment and the student work will feature in the furnishings as well as on the walls and accessories. There is some beautiful, original design work to be seen, showing just how innovative and creative young minds can be when given access to digital dye sublimation equipment.”

Work from Lara Oztekin, Grace Oliver, Alicia Le Bellego, and Gina Johal from Birmingham City University, and Octavia Manning-Cox and Ruth Bagot from University of Leeds, were selected.
Kendle continues: “The students liked the discipline of working to a brief, with a specific aim and defined colour palette. Working with a client and goal in mind gives them an insight into real world design.”
As FESPA has a particular focus on interior décor and printed textiles, Epson will be showcasing its Sure Color printers—the F Series for textiles, the S Series for signage, and P Series for photography. For industrial scale production, the Monna Lisa will also be on display, as well as the Epson Edge RIP which can now run with the entire Sure Color SC-F textiles range.
