Bilsen promotion to drive growth

Roland DG is targeting continued growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and has appointed a new president to drive the expansion.

Gregory Bilsen has been promoted to president of Roland DG EMEA, with a goal of continued growth

Gregory Bilsen has been promoted to president of Roland DG EMEA, whilst continuing to act as president and chief executive officer of Roland DG Central Europe. Bilsen has been in this position almost five years and has driven sales forward within new markets, including the industrial and retail markets.

Eli Keersmaekers, president of global sales and marketing executive officer at Roland DG, says: “I’m delighted to announce the promotion of Gregory to president of Roland DG EMEA. He has proven leadership skills and will ensure that Roland DG EMEA continues to focus and capitalise on existing and potential market opportunities throughout the region. Based in Europe, Gregory will be instrumental in the growth of Roland DG’s customer base across EMEA.”

It is not the only shift in the company, as Johan Struyfs, head of sales, marketing and service has now been promoted to operations director within Roland DG Central Europe. Struyfs will support Bilsen in his new role.

“For many years now, Roland DG has sought to employ and promote the very best talent from around the globe,” continues Keersmaekers, before adding: “This has resulted in increased efficiencies across the board and a more agile business which is able to react quickly to the needs of the more than 200 diverse countries in which we operate. Gregory’s appointment will ensure we consolidate the growth and success within EMEA and ultimately strengthen Roland DG’s global position.”
