Hawes takes top development role at Merson
Signage contractor Merson Group has appointed Clive Hawes as its new head of development.

Clive Hawes has worked with various national and multinational brands during his sign-making career
Hawes is a well-known figure in the UK sign-making industry and most recently served as managing director of Hawes Signs, which recently ceased trading.
Earlier in his career, Hawes also spent time with a number of major UK signage businesses, working with many national and multinational brands.
Speaking about his new role, Hawes says: “I’ve known Merson’s chief executive officer Roddy Angus for many years and we have worked together on a number of contracts, either as competitors in a joint-supply situation or with Merson acting as a subcontractor for Hawes. When Hawes sadly ceased trading I had a chance conversation with Roddy, which led to me joining the Merson team.
“I am delighted to have started with the company at such an exciting time and look forward to working alongside such a talented group of people.”
