Signs Express produced a range of colourful signage to support the National Deaf Children’s Society

Signs Express offered a helping hand to the charity, which has been the company’s chosen organisation since last year, and provided the signage and support for the rebrand.

The firm supported the decoration of offices across the UK, including Cardiff, Birmingham, and Glasgow, and the head site in London. The work was conducted by each branch located in the area. Exterior signage, wayfinding, and reception signs, as well as wallpaper graphics, were produced and installed by Signs Express.

Content and brand marketer for Signs Express, Helen Blyth, says: “They [National Deaf Children’s Society] dictated the designs, and we advised on what materials would be best and what colours could work in the space.

“They’ve been our national charity since last year. We decided to start supporting a national charity, and they come to our convention every year, and we have a little fundraising event there. We raise money for them in our office, and different branches, they do little things as well.”

The difference to our office environment has been incredible to see. The fantastic new office environment really showcases our values and will remind staff and visitors every day of the inspirational deaf children we support every day

The signs incorporated vibrant colours and shapes in the offices, with the in-house design team of the society focusing on the rebranded logo.

Head of brand marketing for NDCS, Phil Barros, comments: “The difference to our office environment has been incredible to see. The fantastic new office environment really showcases our values and will remind staff and visitors every day of the inspirational deaf children we support every day.

Blyth reflects the importance of the working environment at the charity, and says: “Several of our centres were already supporting the National Deaf Children’s Society, and we thought it would be nice to support them, and there’s obviously a synergy there with the sign language, sign making and communication.”

Barros concludes: “The professionalism Signs Express has shown has been faultless and the response of staff across the organisation has been overwhelmingly positive.”
