Two women decided to go for broke and expose their two-timing boyfriend in a rather eye-catching way
The reports from the Newcastle Chronicle and Daily Mirror explained the two women decided to hang the banner from a bridge on the A1 to draw attention to the destruction of their love lives rather than the traditional route of cutting up the love-rat’s clothes or pouring bleach over his sports car.
This public messaging of one’s love life’s ups and downs could be seen as a new trend and potentially a new business sector for sign-makers care of Nicola and Angela—the two jilted women at the centre of the drama. Twitter and Facebook has been buzzing with the story according to the local press who have received messages suggesting public support for the girls and for the sign.

Nicola, from Washington, told the Newcastle Chronicle she had been surprised by the public’s reaction to the banner. They reported her as saying: “It has been a bit of a shock how far this has gone. Enough is enough now. We’ve proved a point and it’s hit him where it hurts.”
The Daily Mirror said the two girls commissioned the professional sign from a local firm rather making their own—an action that sign-makers everywhere will endorse.
