SLX Cast Wrap has a tinted, permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive, which Spandex says provides “excellent opacity”

SLX Cast Wrap is a premium, gloss white repositionable cast film with FLITE Technology, a lite contact system that the manufacturer says allows for graphics to “float over a surface” until firm pressure is applied by the user.

The new material also features a tinted, permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive that Spandex says provides excellent opacity, as well as a low-profile, air egress liner that supports users with the installation process.

Spandex adds that the new solution is suitable for use in projects such as vehicle and fleet wrapping applications.

Leon Watson, Spandex UK general manager, comments: “We’re delighted to add this premium product to the portfolio we can offer wrappers. Due to the ease with which it can be handled, the new film makes inexperienced wrappers look experienced, and allows skilled wrappers to work incredibly quickly.

“The new FLITE technology means that just a single installer is needed, which will really help to speed up the whole application process. What’s more, the overall quality of wrapping installations can be dramatically improved due to the way in which the film behaves, generating very little static once the liner is removed, inhibiting dust pick-up.”

Watson goes on to say: “Overall, the new product meets market demands for a robust wrapping film that can be used even in challenging situations.”
