Carbon Racing is just one of the myriad of new ‘next generation’ vinyl graphics films that has been unveiled by APA
“APA stands in the forefront as a banner of excellence in the production of self-adhesive films, always ready to wow its customers with new products and processes that respond to a constantly evolving and discerning market,” asserts Roberto Vallebona, sales manager, APA.
Due to go on show at Viscom Frankfurt from November 2nd to 4th, the new line-up does seem to live up to its billing, aimed at tough market segments that are infamous for the demanding nature of its clientele. For full-scale wraps is Carbon Racing (CW/RR7-HX) which offers a black gloss carbon effect. This film also features a dedicated formula that confers scratch protection and makes it easier to clean.

Another new product is Roof (CW/K97-HX), a black, self-adhesive extra-gloss cast film, offering abrasion resistance and enhanced outdoor performance. It is reportedly ideal for the decoration of surfaces that require a high-degree of shine.
Another new member of the APA product family is Ultra Matt Blue (CW/86.0-HX), and described by Vallebona as ‘elegant, velvety, and seductive’ is Jaguar (CW/RC87X). Both films use APA’s Repo Tack Air Free adhesive system, with Vallebona also emphasising they provide a very high covering power, conformability, and mechanical resistance.
A final new launch from APA is CW/R00-FX, billed as a “premium, gloss, white cast film” that can be printed with solvent, eco-solvent, UV, and latex inks.
