The event ran from March 18th to 23rd in Frankfurt, Germany, welcoming visitors from across the industry. Attendees that dropped in on the LED Linear booth were able to learn about its latest innovations in LED tapes, freely bendable IP67 luminaires and novel optics technology.

Venus True Color is the newest addition to the popular Venus range that launched back in 2009. The latest product is a LED luminaire that uses a new polyurethane encapsulation technology, offering an IP67 ingress protection index and enables an optimum rendition of the LED spectrum.

It is available in two variants; ‘Top-View’ takes over applications covered by its predecessor for 2D bends perpendicular to the luminous surface, while a second variant provides a perfectly homogenous light line that can be twisted or bent in three dimensions to follow any curves present in modern architectural concepts.

Elsewhere, Mars Nano implements a new optical system that LED Linear says enables an “optimal control of the light”. It also delivers an impressive finish at the luminaire level by making the LEDs and optics disappear behind a smooth curtain.

LED Linear also showed off Xoolux Nano, the brother of Xoolux, for use in work involving indoor linear graze and flood lighting.

In addition, visitors were able to see more than 16 new LED tapes, including the Nexus family, based on state-of-the-art Chip-Scale-Package LEDs, as well as the SOL family.
