“The versatile benefits make the product suitable for exhibition graphics, hoarding panels, signage and outdoor advertising,” explains Luke Martyn, marketing manager, Perspex Distribution.

With both a digitally printable and whiteboard coating, Multishield’s galavanised steel skin makes the panels magnetically receptive, which greatly increases the scope of possible applications for sign makers and printers using the material.

Available in a 3 and 6mm thickness, Multishield has a polyethylene core between its 0.25mm steel sheets, and Perspex says they can be easily fabricated.

Alupanel aluminium composite manufactured by Multipanel UK has gained a strong reputation for its quality and durability. And the same Kent factory is now able to produce Multishield.

Martyn adds: “Its galvanised steel skin makes the panels magnetically receptive, which greatly increases the scope of possible applications for sign-makers and printers using the material.

“The double-sided product is available in either a digital/digital finish, or a digital/whiteboard coating meaning that whiteboard products can be produced without requiring additional processes and lamination.  The digital coating also helps to produce vibrant colourfast prints.”
