Mimaki cuts to the point with CF22-1225

Following the launch of a number of new printers, Mimaki has further expanded wide range of print solutions with the roll-out of a new flatbed cutting plotter in the form of the CF22-1225.

With the ability to handle materials as large as 1,220 x 2,440 mm, the new cutter is billed by the manufacturer as the “ideal complement” to the Mimaki JFX200-2513 for on-demand production of seasonal POP displays or exhibit components.

Mimaki also notes that the CF22-1225 and JFX200-2513 can be combined with ArtiosCAD Designer Solution software to create a complete print-and-cut workflow for creating custom packaging or prototypes.

Speaking in a statement, Ronald Van den Broek, general manager sales at Mimaki Europe, says: “Whether organisations are developing sophisticated short-run signs and display graphics, creating packaging mock-ups or samples, handling special requests for small lot furniture, or simply creating and producing designs on demand, this solution will not disappoint.

It enables businesses to deliver high-value, high-margin premium services. At the same time, the solution can reduce the need to turn down projects or outsource work

“It enables businesses to deliver high-value, high-margin premium services. At the same time, the solution can reduce the need to turn down projects or outsource work.”

The launch comes after Mimaki also recently rolled out two new printer/cutters in the form of the Mimaki UCJV150-160 and UCJV300-160. Both products were shown for the first time in the UK at The Print Show by Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki print kit in the UK and Ireland.

Speaking about the reception for the new printers, John de la Roche, national sales manager at Hybrid, comments: “This was a highly successful event for Hybrid and for Mimaki; we launched the new Mimaki UCJV series printer/cutter to great acclaim and the interest from visitors was extremely positive, with orders being placed at the show.
