Liquid Lens hopes to attract interest from vinyl wrap suppliers, vehicle wrappers and car enthusiasts

XtrudeFX launched at the event as the latest in a line of creative uses for Liquid Lens’ mercury-free resin and desktop machines.

Visitors were able to catch a glimpse of the new offering in action, with examples of the domed car wrapping customisation on display at the firm’s stand during the show.

Steve Hastie, managing director of Liquid Lens, says that XtrudeFX will appeal to vinyl wrap suppliers, vehicle wrappers and car enthusiasts.

“We’ve been in talks with suppliers and car wrapping professionals who are equally eager to find out more and join us on training courses,” Steve Hastie says.

We’ve worked with the automotive sector for many years, mostly in the production of 3D domed branded labels, but we’ve wanted to use our equipment, know-how and resin in car wrapping for a long time

“We’ve worked with the automotive sector for many years, mostly in the production of 3D domed branded labels, but we’ve wanted to use our equipment, know-how and resin in car wrapping for a long time.

“This has been a long-term idea that’s finally come to fruition and we’re delighted at the levels of interest and enthusiasm we’ve already received.”
