3M has launched a range of specialty overlaminates, 3M Wrap Overlaminate Series 8900, which is the company’s first high-performance specialty line.

3M has launched a range of specialty overlaminates, 3M Wrap Overlaminate Series 8900
3M hopes to encourage more creative applications and levels of customisation with the new overlaminates. The series includes carbon fibre and brushed finishes, offering a textured effect that is ideal for distinctive vehicle wraps and sign installations.

He adds: “The 3M Wrap Overlaminate Series 8900 will provide graphic installers and manufacturers with an unparalleled level of creativity and customisation that works perfectly in tandem with the 3M products they already use, know and trust.”

The overlaminates can also finish a printed graphic or coloured wrap film with sparkle effects in silver, gold, and red. They are compatible with 3M films such as the Wrap Film Series 1080, Controltac Graphic Film with Comply v3 Adhesive IJ180Cv3, and Controltac Graphic Film Series 180.
The series is made in 1.52m wide rolls and are backed by the 3M MCS Warranty, providing customers with peace of mind that the films will perform to a high standard.
