Trade supplier Quality Print Services (QPS) has recently announced the addition of a new range of wide-format presses to the UK market, which promise to offer an affordable alternative to more established names.

The Longier Hunter FR 3750 flatbed wide-format printer, now available in the UK from QPS, comes with an extended media table for large board

Chinese-manufactured, with UK design refinement, the UK Longier range comprises five LED UV wide-format printers in the Hunter series. QPS states that the new systems feature cutting-edge long-life, cool-cure LED UV technology, speeds of up to 70sq m/hr, white ink as standard plus varnish and spot colours.

The five machines are either available as flatbed (FP 3750, 6000, and 900) or with a roll-to-roll option (FR 3750 and 4650), and range in size from the FP 900 (1,000 x 900mm) to the FR 4650 (3,200 x 1,450mm) and FP 6000 (2,000 x 3000mm) to cover a number of application needs.

Longier machines are solidly built, efficient and reliable so are ideal for any sign-maker or display company looking to replace or expand their equipment

“We're excited to introduce Longier flatbed printers to the UK market for the first time,” says QPS managing director Chris Bailey. “The brand is a real competitor against our industry's more recognised names and with Nazdar inks ready-installed it offers exceptional quality and cost savings.

“Longier machines are solidly built, efficient and reliable so are ideal for any sign-maker or display company looking to replace or expand their equipment. In fact, we'd like to invite businesses to test the Longier printer at the UK demonstration suite to put the range through its paces using their own files on their own substrates.”
