G G Cade stretches the possibilities of fabric

Glass and ceramic decoration specialist G G Cade has developed a new range of screen fabric stretchers that it claims require no fabric clamps, precision engineered construction or special skills to achieve ‘perfect’ screen fabric tension

The Kwik Stretch System can serve all screen formats, including large-format

The Kwik Stretch System uses a specially designed two-part aluminium profile, which lock together on all four sides to hold the fabric while the frame is surrounded by a pneumatic tube that is inflated to add tension to the fabric.

G G Cade says the entre process takes just three or four minutes to produce screen fabric up to 112cm sq.

The new system is capable of serving all screen formats, from small-format screens up to large-formats.

Within a few short minutes, screen fabrics can be prepared and stretched to whatever tension is required, every time

Lewis Stovin, managing director for G G Cade, comments: “The idea was to create a high quality, fully portable fabric tensioning system that is easy to use and can be set up on any work bench and used by almost anyone in the printing department.

“Within a few short minutes, screen fabrics can be prepared and stretched to whatever tension is required, every time."
