Absen reassures customers over stock concerns
As the coronavirus outbreak continues, Absen has issued a statement to reassure its customers that its stock and shipping of its LED products has not been affected, despite manufacturing being headquartered in China.

Absen has reassured customers over coronavirus stock concerns
According to the firm, it still has over 5,000sq m of LED in stock ready to be shipped and a further 27,000sq m of indoor, outdoor and rental display products in production.
Whilst Absen has a manufacturing base in Huizhou, China, it also has stock available from its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany and across additional locations covered by its distributors.
In the statement, the company confirms that it has been working at full capacity since “well before” the outbreak began in December. It describes orders as being up by 128% compared to the same period last year.

Tania Zhao, managing director of Absen Europe comments: “We would like to reassure our customers and the market that our company is in a very strong position.
“We have a vast array of products in stock, which can be shipped directly, or collected from our European warehouse in Germany or our regional distribution partners. Our priority is to ensure our customers and our partners continue to have access to the latest LED products.”
At the end of this month, Absen plans to move into larger premises at its European offices which it says will allow it to hold twice the amount of stock than its current one.
