The Print Show 2019 takes place from September 17th to 19th in Hall 9 of the NEC in Birmingham

From new kit launches and live demonstrations, through to specialist speakers and celebrity book signings, The Print Show 2019 looks set to be a must-attend event for all members of the print and related industries.

Here are some of the reasons why we think a trip to Birmingham this month would be worth your while.

1 – Dedication to print

The Print Show focuses solely on the UK printing market – something no other event currently does. By visiting the show, you can be assured that all exhibitors in attendance will be committed to the UK sector and helping its members grow their businesses.

2 – Covering all bases

Previous visitors will be fully aware of the scope of show, with the organising team focusing on addressing all key areas of the print market. Printing press technology, wide-format kit, finishing solutions, papers and software will all be covered at The Print Show 2019, meaning there will be something for everyone who attends.

3 – Focus on diversification

One of the most important buzzwords in the UK printing industry for some time, ‘diversification’ remains key for modern print businesses seeking to expand their customer base. The Diversification Zone returns to The Print Show this year, featuring experts from various markets where print companies can expand into and win new business as a result.

4 – Location, location, location

The NEC in Birmingham is one of the most accessible venues in the UK. Whether you are travelling by road, rail or air, the NEC can cater for visitors from all areas of the UK. There are also a number of on-site hotels if you’re planning to stay for more than one day, while central Birmingham is only a short journey away.

5 – Leading brands

The exhibitor list for The Print Show 2019 makes for impressive reading, with a whole host of majors names from global print set to attend. From digital print giants HP, Epson, Xerox (Xeretec) and Mimaki (Hybrid Services), through to finishing heavyweights Morgana Systems and Vivid Laminating Technologies, you’ll have access to experts and demonstrations from right across the print spectrum.

6 – Shining a light on innovation

The Print Show also serves as a valuable platform for smaller companies keen to put their products in front of thousands of potential customers from all areas of print. Visitors could find the solution they need to take their business to the next level by speaking with these organisations at the NEC.

7 – Mixing with celebrities

Brand new for this year, The Print Show will be playing host to a special celebrity book-signing event, featuring celebrated explorer and adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, British boxing legend Chris Eubank and celebrity chef and TV personality Gregg Wallace. All visitors can have their photograph taken with the celebrities, while the famous faces will also take part in a live Q&A where visitors can put forward their own questions.

8 – Expert speakers

The Business Seminar Theatre will play host to a number of expert speakers from the print industry and related markets. Sessions this year will look at key subjects such as the environment, business growth, marketing, digital print, 3D print and sales.

9 – Print makes prizes

Once again, The Print Show will be giving visitors the chance to win a whole host of prizes – all for free. Those who have pre-registered will receive a golden ticket that they can hand in on entrance to the show and be entered into a prize draw. Prizes on offer include Amazon vouchers, iPhones, luxury hampers and even a pinball machine personalised in The Print Show’s branding!

10 – It’s free!

Finally, The Print Show remains completely free to attend, meaning all visitors can access all of the above without having to pay to enter the hall. With so much on offer in Hall 9, this is a fantastic opportunity to access advice and information all free-of-charge.
